Body Lift
Body Lift Surgery
Body lift surgery (also known as belt lipectomy), is commonly performed on someone who has lost extreme amounts of weight or has undergone liposuction. Body contouring allows the patient to change their appearance by tightening their skin to get back the youthful body they once had.
Patients interested in body lifts often suffer from inelastic skin (loose) as a result of aging, pregnancy or dramatic weight loss from bariatric surgery or dieting. This is why the procedure is often accompanied with other procedures such as mastopexy (breast lift), Brachioplasty (arm lift) and liposuction to contain a proper body.
Body Lift Procedure

The body lift procedures involves lifting the skin from underlying tissue, fat removal, and muscle tightening. After surgery, patients are encouraged to walk as soon as they are able to, although strenuous activities must be limited for about a month. Results are visible immediately.
